The highly regarded pensions practice of this leading international law firm is in growth mode. They are specifically keen to grow the de-risking side of their practice and have opportunities across the practice from NQ to Legal Director level.
The team’s de-risking work includes advising trustees and corporates on complex de-risking transactions including buy-ins, buy-outs, and full scheme wind-ups. The team works on market-leading transactions, providing clients with pragmatic, commercially focused advice across the entire de-risking lifecycle, including project management, regulatory considerations, and member communications. The role offers exposure to multi-billion-pound transactions, working closely with top-ranked partners.
At the junior level it is important that applicants have strong pensions and/or insurance experience and can demonstrate a good knowledge and understanding of pensions de-risking work and the impact de-risking market continues to have on the pension industry. For more senior candidates a de-risking focus and experience of buy-ins/buy-outs and pensions risk transfer projects is key. Solid technical pensions knowledge with a practical, solution-oriented mindset is also important.
