A highly regarded London-based law firm is seeking a newly qualified solicitor to join its construction team, advising on major development, regeneration and infrastructure schemes across the UK.
This opportunity would suit an individual who enjoys the commercial mechanics behind building projects and wants to work closely with investors, developers, occupiers, funders and project stakeholders on complex, high-value matters.
Rather than focusing on disputes, the role centres on the structuring, procurement and delivery of construction projects. The successful candidate will help shape documentation, advise on project risk allocation and support clients throughout the lifecycle of significant real estate and development transactions.
The work
You can expect exposure to:
- Construction aspects of large-scale development and regeneration projects
- Drafting and negotiating building contracts, consultant appointments, warranties and related project documentation
- Advising on procurement structures and delivery models
- Supporting real estate, hospitality, living sector and mixed-use developments
- Working directly with a broad range of sophisticated clients, from property investors to developers and institutional stakeholders
- Collaborating closely with colleagues across real estate, planning, banking and corporate teams
The person

- Are newly qualified or approaching qualification as a solicitor in England & Wales
- Have gained experience in non-contentious construction during their training contract
- Demonstrate strong drafting ability and commercial awareness
- Enjoy building long-term client relationships
- Take a thoughtful, practical approach to problem-solving
- Are keen to develop within a collaborative and intellectually curious environment
