The Opportunity

Its client base includes major energy companies, utilities, transport operators, developers, financial institutions, local authorities and central government bodies, alongside an increasing volume of international work.
You will have the opportunity to develop expertise in a particular sector or build a broader infrastructure and projects practice, depending on your interests and longer-term ambitions.
Representative Work
- Advising on the development of major energy and renewable infrastructure projects, and supporting M&A transactions, commercial arrangements and public procurement in the energy sector.
- Significant utilities and infrastructure mandates, including water infrastructure, energy networks, data centres and fleet electrification.
- Advising on regulated energy matters and emerging technologies supporting the energy transition.
- Working on rail franchising, mobilisation, transfer schemes and ongoing operational arrangements.
- Advising on the procurement and modification of rolling stock.
- Drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts for transport operators and infrastructure businesses.
- Advising on projects involving schools, hospitals, roads and other essential public assets and services.
- Supporting public-private partnership (PPP) and private finance initiative (PFI) arrangements, including projects involving public authorities, private sector providers and funders.
