A well-established boutique firm in London is seeking a talented mid-level commercial litigator to join its busy Dispute Resolution team. The firm has a strong reputation for high-quality work and long-standing client relationships across a diverse range of sectors.
This is a broad litigation role covering general commercial disputes, with the opportunity to work on a mix of contract, shareholder, property-related, and employment litigation matters. You will handle a varied caseload and work closely with partners on complex cases, as well as manage smaller matters independently.
Key responsibilities will include: managing and progressing a range of commercial litigation matters from start to finish; advising clients on contractual disputes, partnership issues, and professional negligence claims; handling employment litigation, including unfair dismissal and discrimination claims; drafting pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements; representing clients in mediation and liaising with counsel as required.
Suitable candidates will have a minimum of two years PQE and have trained and gained experience with a firm well known for their contentious work. Experience of employment litigation is of particular interest. Strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills are key as is the confidence to work directly with clients and manage files with minimal supervision.
