The firm now advises across employment, business immigration, pensions, regulatory matters, corporate governance relating to partnerships/LLPs, incentives, data protection and education-sector issues.
With more than 60 lawyers and consultants operating from several offices across London and the South East, the firm continues to expand and is seeking an experienced Senior Associate or Legal Director to join its high-performing Employment team in London.
The Opportunity
This role offers the chance to take an influential position within a genuinely specialist practice, working in a collegiate, integrated environment where lawyers collaborate across offices and disciplines. The successful lawyer will handle a balanced mix of senior employee and employer work, with the ability to shape their focus depending on strengths and interests.
Typical work includes:
For senior individuals
- Advising partners, executives and senior managers on grievances, dismissal processes, performance and conduct issues
- Strategic guidance on discrimination and whistleblowing matters
- Negotiating high-value settlements
- High Court and Employment Tribunal litigation
For employer clients
- Advising a broad mix of organisations, including recognised names in technology, consumer, professional and financial services
- Day-to-day advisory work on contracts, policies, investigations and restructurings
- Complex employment status, partnership/LLP and incentive-related matters
- Cross-border issues in collaboration with international firms in established network
- Business protection matters including restrictive covenants and team moves
