Corporate Real Estate Associate - London

We are working with a leading international law firm to recruit an Associate for its highly regarded Corporate Real Estate practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated property-related M&A and joint venture transactions, real estate portfolio deals, and broader strategic corporate matters — all within a collaborative, commercially focused team.

    The Opportunity

You will join a respected real estate and corporate group handling complex, high-value real estate transactions for a varied and sophisticated client base, including institutional investors, funds, developers, corporate occupiers and high-profile private clients.

This practice is known for its blend of corporate and real estate expertise, advising on matters where the two intersect — from portfolio acquisitions and disposals to strategic joint ventures and corporate restructuring with real estate elements.

    The Work

As part of the team, you can expect to be involved in:

    • Real estate-led corporate M&A — acting on acquisitions and disposals of real estate portfolios, property-rich businesses and strategic capital transactions
    • Joint ventures & investment structures — structuring and negotiating JVs, co-investment arrangements and complex shareholder agreements
    • Corporate real estate projects — advising on strategic development platforms, forward funding arrangements and multi-asset deals
    • Due diligence & risk analysis — leading real estate due diligence and reporting for corporate transactions
    • Cross-disciplinary collaboration — working with teams across banking & finance, tax, planning, construction and regulatory practice areas

The role offers genuine transaction exposure, responsibility, and the chance to build lasting client relationships.

    About You

    You will likely be:

    • A qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 2–5 PQE in corporate real estate, or experience in both corporate/M&A and commercial real estate with a top tier firm
    • Comfortable with both corporate process and property risk analysis, bridging commercial real estate and corporate law
    • Capable of handling aspects of transaction documentation, due diligence, negotiation and client management
    • Commercially aware, pragmatic, and able to deliver clear, business-focused advice
    • A collaborative team player who enjoys working across disciplines and developing client relationships

    Why This Role Is Compelling

    • High-quality work — act on complex and strategically significant real estate and corporate matters for blue-chip clients
    • Integrated practice — real estate plus corporate expertise in one team, offering breadth of exposure
    • International footprint — work with colleagues and clients across multiple jurisdictions
    • Collaborative culture — supportive, engaged partners who value mentoring and associate development
    • Career progression — clear routes to senior roles, with substantive exposure to clients and deal leadership
    • Balanced working environment — hybrid arrangements and an emphasis on high-value experience over high volume
