Corporate Energy - Senior Associate/Director - National firm with a strong London presence - London

Corporate Energy – Senior Associate / Associate Director

National firm with a strong London presence is looking to appoint a Senior Associate or Associate Director to join its market-leading Corporate Energy team in London.

Energy and infrastructure are at the heart of the firms strategy and they have built a strong reputation for advising across the full clean energy lifecycle – from development and financing through to M&A, joint ventures and disposals. With the sector continuing to grow rapidly, this is an exciting opportunity to join a highly active team with a stellar client base and clear plans for expansion.

    The Opportunity

You’ll be joining a corporate group of over 15 partners in London, with two senior partners dedicated to the energy sector. Working closely with them, you’ll play a key role in executing complex and high-profile transactions across renewables, storage, EV infrastructure and other clean energy assets.

This is a growth role: the team has the work but needs additional senior bandwidth to deliver it. You’ll act as a trusted right-hand person to the partners, taking responsibility for client relationships, supervising juniors, and running deals with confidence and autonomy.

    What You’ll Do

    • Advise on a broad range of corporate M&A and investment transactions within the clean energy and renewables space.
    • Lead and support on deals involving strategic investors, developers, and funds.
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues across finance, projects, real estate, regulatory and other specialist teams.
    • Help shape and grow the firm’s energy offering – a core strategic sector for Osborne Clarke globally.

    Why join?

    • Genuine sector focus – 100% clean energy and low-carbon work.
    • No following required – the work is already there with plenty more to go after.
    • Manageable hours – a realistic chargeable targets reflective of actual working life.
    • Career progression – strong prospects within a team that’s central to the firm’s growth plans.
    • Collaborative culture – supportive partners, collegiate environment, and a commitment to development.

    About You

    • Qualified corporate/M&A lawyer (UK or equivalent) with solid transactional experience.
    • Ideally 6+ PQE, though strong senior associates will be considered.
    • Genuine interest and experience in the energy or renewables sector.
    • Commercial, pragmatic, and confident managing clients and leading deals.
