We are instructed by an established UK law firm to recruit a junior or junior–mid level Construction Solicitor to join their highly respected practice. This is an exceptional opportunity for a bright lawyer seeking high-profile work within a genuinely supportive and flexible environment.
Their construction practice covers the following:
- Expansion projects across the education sector
- Notable and often politically sensitive new constructions and refurbishment schemes
- Large-scale infrastructure and engineering work, including NSIPs
- Mixed-use developments
- Substantial regeneration, student living and affordable housing projects
- Conservation, heritage and listed-building restoration work
- Energy-from-waste and other renewable and environmentally focused developments
The team supports a distinguished portfolio of clients, ranging from central government bodies and local councils to universities, health trusts, registered providers and developers.
The group includes lawyers who specialise heavily in contentious or non-contentious work, as well as others with a balanced, mixed practice—meaning the role can be shaped around your interests and strengths.
Hence you will have the opportunity to centre you experience around a combination of the following aspects of construction law:
- Drafting and negotiating contracts and project documentation
- Advising on procurement and risk management
- Handling disputes through adjudication, mediation, litigation, arbitration, and expert determination
