An established Top 50 UK firm is seeking an ambitious Banking & Finance Solicitor (NQ–4 PQE) to join its growing London-based team. The Opportunity
This is a broad-based banking and finance role where you’ll gain experience across a variety of transactions, including:
General corporate lending
Acquisition finance
Real estate finance
Asset-based lending (ABL)
Project finance
You’ll work closely with senior lawyers and partners on a mix of lender and borrower mandates, supporting major financial institutions, sponsors, funds, and corporates. From day one, you’ll be involved in drafting facility agreements, negotiating terms, and managing deals from start to finish.

Major UK clearing banks
Specialist and fund-based lenders
Private equity houses, management teams, and debt funds
Borrowers across the UK, Europe and the US
The national team comprises over 30 lawyers, including 11 partners, offering deep expertise across leveraged, corporate, and real estate finance. You’ll be based in London but collaborate seamlessly with colleagues across multiple UK offices.

About You
Qualified solicitor in England & Wales.
Ideally some experience in a banking and finance team (or a training seat in the area).
Strong drafting and negotiation skills, including familiarity with LMA documentation.
Excellent communication, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
Commercially aware, proactive, and eager to develop within a supportive team.
