A highly regarded national Banking & Finance practice is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to support its continued growth across Birmingham, Nottingham, Manchester and Reading.
This is an excellent opportunity for a banking lawyer looking to work on high-quality, varied finance transactions, within a genuinely supportive and progressive environment, to join the team in any of the above locations in the North, Midlands or South.
The Opportunity
You will join a well-established, client-facing banking practice known for its commercial insight and pragmatic approach. The team is widely recognised as a trusted adviser on complex and fast-moving transactions and is instructed by a strong roster of UK financial institutions, challenger banks, specialist lenders, private equity houses and corporates.
Scope of Work
The role offers exposure to a broad and interesting mix of banking and finance matters, including:
- General banking and corporate lending transactions
- Acquisition and leveraged finance, acting for sponsors, management teams and funders
- Real estate finance, including investment and development work
- Project finance and structured finance matters
- Asset-based lending and alternative funding structures
You will be encouraged to take ownership of matters, manage key workstreams, and play an active role in building long-term client relationships.
